MATERIAL

Silver

The majority of our jewellery is made from genuine recycled 925 sterling silver. Genuine gold and silver are more resistant to discoloration and oxidation, providing our jewellery with durability that lasts over time. Genuine silver and gold have a lower likelihood of causing allergic reactions compared to many other metals. All our jewellery is nickel-free. The products always bear hallmark stamps as evidence of the authenticity of the material, following the Swedish Technical Research Institute's (SWEDAC) standards.

Gold

Our gold jewellery has a core of genuine recycled 925 silver or brass and is plated with 18-24 karat genuine gold.

Brass

Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc. Brass is a relatively soft metal that is well-suited for jewellery making.

Gilding

Gilding refers to when a piece of jewellery has a coating of gold or silver over the underlying material.

Pearls

Freshwater Pearls

The majority of our pearls are freshwater pearls. Each freshwater pearl is unique in its own shape, color, and size as it is a natural gemstone. This may cause slight variations in your pearl jewellery compared to the one you see in the product image. If a piece of jewellery is made with synthetic pearls, it will be indicated in the product description.

Shell Pearls

Shell Pearls refer to pearls created by compressing multiple layers of genuine mother-of-pearl into a pearl shape. Shell pearls are available in both round and irregular shapes and are a great alternative to freshwater pearls as they are of higher quality than entirely synthetic pearls made from plastic or wax.

Synthetic Pearls

In some rare cases, we use synthetic pearls. Synthetic pearls are typically made of plastic with a shimmering coating resembling a genuine pearl.

Stones

Cubic zirconia

Cubic zirconia is a simulated gemstone that can be produced in many different colors and shapes. You'll find this stone in the majority of our jewellery. It's a hard stone with a high level of resistance to wear, making it difficult to scratch or damage.

Nano gems

Nano gems are simulated gemstones created in a laboratory, and through the technique, these stones achieve a more uniform color compared to, for example, cubic zirconia.

Genuine gemstones

Genuine gemstones are various types of minerals that form naturally beneath the Earth's surface. Some gemstones are rarer than others, and the category of gemstones often includes what is also referred to as semi-precious stones such as onyx, amethyst, and rose quartz, among others. The type of gemstone used is always mentioned in the product description.

Lab-grown diamonds

Laboratory-grown diamonds are physically and optically identical to mined diamonds. The only difference between the two is their origin.

Gold

Gold is a chemical element and a mineral classified as a precious metal. Our jewellery is made of 14K gold, which means that it contains 58% pure gold in the jewellery, often marked as 14K or 585. The purity of gold is measured in karats, and gold in its purest form, 24K, is not strong enough for use in jewellery making and is therefore mixed with other metals to create a durable alloy.
